I am an Engineer at Dunn Associates, Inc. and a Ph.D. candidate at the Infrastructure Group at the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering of the University of Utah.
My research focuses on seismic performance assessment of post-tensioned concrete bridge bents using non-linear three-dimensional modeling and dynamic analyses of full scale bridges in OpenSees. Developing 3-D rocking post-tensioned bridge column model and validating it against various laboratory tests is an important part of my research.
Designing multi-story concrete shear wall building, mid-rise steel building, and tilt-up concrete wall warehouses has been a part of my work at Dunn Associates.
I have been actively developing tools to visualize OpenSees models using Python. On this website, I will share my knowledge on OpenSees modeling through various examples, explaining the thought process behind complex OpenSees models. This will be helpful for new learners.
